The rules shown were those in effect for CSEx2010. They are shown here as a guideline for competitors, but they will be subject to review and possible revision prior to CSEx2011 and may well change.

The nature of the course, with gradients of 1 in 10 and steeper in some places and speeds around 60mph, means this event is not suitable for "novelty carts".
